In this time of pronounced growth in social entrepreneurship the role of scientific and technical personnel as a new force has not been fully encouraged. This paper analyzes the factors influencing the entrepreneurial initiative of science and technology workers and the relationship between the various factors using data from a questionnaire survey of innovative entrepreneurial activity conducted by CAST. The author introduces the structural equation model and examines the driving path of the factors influencing the entrepreneurial activity of Chinese science and technology workers.
