In November 2015, the Center for Strategic & International Studies (CSIS) in the United States issued Defense 2045: Assessing the Future of Security Environment and Implications for Defense Policymakers. From an international perspective, the report assesses the future security environment in six areas: demographics, economics and national power, power of diffusion, emerging and disruptive technologies, connectedness and geopolitics.
